Privacy Policy

💋 Jinx's version: I keep the bare minimum to know who paid, who's in the channel and who's trying to cheat the trial. I don't sell your data. I don't read your DMs for fun.
This policy explains how Jinx Bets ("we") processes personal data when you use the website jinxbets.com, the Telegram bot @BetJinxedBot and the private channel (the "Service"). The Service is run by the Jinx Bets team, reachable on Telegram at @Jinx_Stub. We aim to follow recognised data protection standards, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies.
1. Data we collect
When you use the bot and the channel
- Telegram user ID, @username and first name (as shown by Telegram);
- your licence key, plan, start and expiry dates, and whether you are in the private channel;
- payment references from the crypto payment provider (invoice ID, amount, currency, status). We never see or store card or wallet credentials;
- messages you send to the bot (for example your key or support requests);
- basic technical logs of bot activity (dates, errors).
When you use the website
- IP address and basic browser information (browser, device, language);
- if you request a free trial on the website: a hashed device/browser fingerprint and, if requested, your email address, used only to prevent trial abuse;
- cookies or similar technologies, as described in the Cookie Policy.
We do not ask for your phone number, ID documents, bank details or bookmaker account details.
2. Why we use it (and legal basis)
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Deliver keys, give and remove channel access, check licences | Performance of the contract |
| Process payments and keep accounting records | Contract and legal obligations |
| Prevent fraud, key sharing and trial abuse; protect the Service | Our legitimate interest |
| Answer support requests | Contract / legitimate interest |
| Send service messages (expiry reminders, access changes) | Contract |
| Website analytics, if enabled | Your consent |
We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal effects, except automatic removal from the channel when a key is invalid or expired, which you can always ask us to review.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers we need to run the Service:
- Telegram (messaging platform);
- the licence system provider that validates keys;
- the crypto payment provider;
- hosting / CDN providers for the website and the bot.
Some of these providers are outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, or on the provider's own safeguards.
We may disclose data if required by law or to defend our legal rights.
4. How long we keep it
- Account and licence data: while you have access, and up to 12 months after it ends (to handle support and abuse);
- payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires;
- trial anti-abuse data (hashed fingerprint, email): up to 12 months after the trial;
- technical logs: up to 90 days.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as access controls, encrypted connections and storing anti-abuse identifiers only in hashed form. No system is 100% secure.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time (for example for analytics cookies). Message us on Telegram at @Jinx_Stub.
Deleting your data ends your access to the Service. If you think we are not respecting your rights, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
7. Minors
The Service is only for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if we find out we have, we delete it and remove access.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes will be announced in the bot or the channel.
